Our counsellors benefit from fortnightly small-group supervision with experienced supervisors, following BACP guidelines, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your work. A small donation of £35 per month helps cover supervision and charity administration.

Gain valuable counselling, supervision, and training hours that count toward your course requirements and BACP accreditation, while working with an established charity making a real impact in the local community. Clients are carefully matched to your experience and specialisms, giving you meaningful and manageable work.

Our Trustees

  • Terri has a BTEC/HND Counselling Diploma and worked as a counsellor for many years. She also has a background in PR, conference and business administration and her early working experience was in politics.

  • David has over 40 years professional experience in the IT industry. Also a lifetime passion for making computers help every day activities. Retired and enjoying travel, wine, home automation and supporting friends and family with DIY and IT.

  • During her time with the NHS Angela’s innovative approach, passion and enthusiasm have resulted in a number of regional and National Awards and Commendations.

  • Chris qualified as an accountant in 2010 and spent the first 12 years of his career working in audit and assurance, with experience ranging from small business through to large multinationals and also included some work with charities. He now works as a senior finance business partner in the telecommunications and technology industry.

    Outside of work Chris is spends his time with his family, he loves spending time in nature, going for walks, playing golf and running. He also enjoys cooking and has just taken up amateur astronomy.

  • Margaret Hicks | Pastoral Trustee
    Supporting various Trusts including being the Lead Governor for Surrey & Borders NHS Trust, Action for Carers Surrey, Central Surrey Voluntary Action and involved in local youth.

  • Mary taught French before training as a counsellor and later as a supervisor. She worked for eight years on a day programme for people with drug and alcohol addiction problems. This included counselling, group facilitation and clinical supervision of volunteers and staff. Since then, she has taught on the counselling degree course at Kingston College and been in private practice as a counsellor and supervisor.

  • Suzanne has worked as a communications consultant for over thirty years, advising corporate and challenger brands on issues such as strategy formulation, corporate visibility, change management, B2B and internal communications.
